We were never short for culinary talent at Heirloom Book Company.
In fact, one of the things we're best remembered for are the terrific dinner parties we hosted in the shop with visiting chefs & cookbook authors.
One of the first dinners we ever had in this series (I believe it was a Sunday Supper) was with Ken Vendrinksy, Chef of Trattoria Lucca, in Charleston, SC.
Talk about a magical night... I'm still thinking about that ravioli in tomato water!
